Message for the British and Commonwealth Community from the British Embassy Skopje

Use our new LOCATE service to tell us where you’re travelling to or living in Macedonia so our embassy and crisis staff can provide better assistance in a crisis.

It only takes a few minutes to register your contact details and travel plans online. There is no need to contact the British embassy directly.

We’re encouraging ALL British Nationals travelling and living overseas to register with LOCATE, even for short trips. To register with LOCATE please complete the short online registration form that you can find on the link below. 

You only need to register for the service once and then update your account when you make a new trip abroad. You can even add planned trips abroad up to a year ahead.

The benefits of registering with LOCATE is that if a major catastrophe occurs we will have your contact details and can contact you to check you are safe and well. LOCATE can also help if family and friends are trying to get in touch with you.

You can update your details on LOCATE using your user name and password. Annual renewal is required, but an automatic reminder is sent to you as a prompt every 12 months.
