Passport documents
Passport application forms will have to be correctly filled in and all relevant documents enclosed. Incorrectly completed application forms or applications without all documents required will cause a delay in the issue of a passport.
Print out the correct application form. We have also provided guidance notes to help you complete your application form. Application forms are available at the Embassy as well as on the website. We accept application forms printed in black and white.
Once you have printed out and completed the form, initial each page in the box provided. We cannot accept your application if this is not done.
To allow electronic scanning, please make sure your signature is fully contained within the box provided for signature (it must not touch the box lines).
You need 2 recent photographs (35mmx45mm) taken against a white background, of at least 1200dpi-s (ask at the photo shop to produce the highest possible quality).
For detailed guidance, please check the Standards for Passport photos
Photographs of poor quality will not be accepted. Before we can accept the application we will have to scan the photograph and see if the system accepts it. If the photograph is not up to standard, we will have to ask you to bring new photographs of a higher quality
The biometric passports fees are £150.5 for an 48 page passport, £124.5 for a standard 32 page passport and £79.5 for a five year passport for applicants under 16, collected in Euros only at the Consular rate of exchange £1 = €1.15
