Visas for the UK
Notice to all visa applicants to the United Kingdom
Please note that the British Embassy Visa Section is unable to print online applications forms for applicants.
It is therefore essential that a copy of the online application is printed prior to attending the Embassy for visa appointments.
Failure to submit a printed application form will result in your application being rejected.
Where can I get information?
UK Border Agency and the British Embassy Skopje work in partnership with a commercial organisation: Worldbridge. You can find out whether you need a visa and how to apply through Worldbridge's website at www.visainfoservices.com . Worldbridge also provides information through an e-mail enquiry service and pay telephone service. All the information provided is supplied and approved by the UK Border Agency.
If you are unable to find the information you need on this website, you may send Worldbridge an email enquiry or use their pay phone service at +442-0-70-997-270. Trained agents will provide you with visa application information.
Due to the fact that the British Embassy in Skopje is outsourcing e-mail enquiries and telephone calls regarding visas, any e-mails sent to the addresses provided on this web site will be deleted.
Do I have to pay?
Website and email information is free of charge. However, there is a fee equivalent to US$14 to make the telephone call. This is an international call to the UK that will be routed to our call centre. You can only pay for the service (using a secure, automated system) with a credit or debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo.
Where can I get advice?
Worldbridge and its staff are unable to give you advice on how to complete your application, or what type of visa you should apply for. If you need help with your application or advice about the UK's immigration rules and requirements, you should seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser. In the UK these are immigration advisers regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC - www.oisc.gov.uk) or legally qualified professionals regulated by designated professional bodies.
Their websites are:
- Law Society of England and Wales
- Law Society of Scotland
- Law Society of Northern Ireland
- Institute of Legal Executives
How do I submit my application?
You should submit your application through our online application service visa4uk.fco.gov.uk at the Visa Section of the British Embassy Skopje.
Who decides whether I will get a visa?
Your visa application will be processed and decided by UK Border Agency staff. Neither Worldbridge, nor any of its staff play any part in, nor can they influence the outcome of your visa application. If any member of staff employed by Worldbridge claim to be able to influence your application you should inform the British Embassy Skopje as soon as possible.
